You're right.. He fought a high enough level of pro fighters his size to prove himself and we can more accurately determine his level as a professional boxer..

Why not say Zepeda is not Carl Froch while we're at it, who would easily be the greatest (or only great) and most proven fighter out of the analogy we have going on here..

I should add: I agree the most likely outcome is Shakur "outboxing" Zepeda while we turn the channel or go to sleep.

    Fight will be:

    117-111-Shakur
    116-112 Shakur
    117-111 Shakur

It's not even gonna be very close, then everyone will be on here mad because Shakur made it look easy again.

Don't forget about the KDs. If pillow-fisted Farmer could drop Zepeda twice, then I don't see why a more accurate, more powerful Shakur wouldn't find that chin.

I've seen on social media that Shakur the little cry baby is complaining about money and that Turki is now not offering him enough to take the Zepeda fight. LOL I guess Turki gave you a chance last time against Padley and you stunk the joint out.

You heard wrong bro. I thought Zepeda comfortably won the fight, but he was eating a lot of uppercuts, especially towards the end of the fight.

I don't see how Shakur doesn't easily outbox Zepeda though, unless he hurts his hands during the fight.....

Now that this fight is becoming a reality
& Shakur’s history of consistent brittle hand problems
This may very well turn out to be a prophetic post.

depending on the odds I might just make a wager.

This might be Shakur's toughest opponent to date. Zepeda threw almost 1,000 punches against Farmer in the rematch. Zepeda will no doubt bring the heat and look to take Shakur into deep water and drown him with his sheer volume and pressure.

But it's one thing to do that do Tevin Farmer, another to do that do Shakur who maybe able to move and box and take away Zepeda's ability to throw in volume by forcing him to constantly reset and rarely be in a position to throw.

I think Stevenson will take away Zepeda's strengths, frustrate him, keep him on the outside and win a decision. But Zepeda is a threat. Shakur doesn't counter enough and Zepeda might be able to simply walk him down because of that. Shakur will need to be 100% or he'll end up in a serious fight for the first time.

It's a interesting contrast of styles, a powerful pressure fighter with a great workrate against a great elusive boxer with masterful technique. In my opinion Shakur's defensive technique and his precision will be decisive, very often he will avoid Zepeda's attacks and landing the cleanest shots. I say Stevenson win on points by a very wide margin after giving a boxing lesson to his opponent.

Team Zepeda need to bring in Skye Nicolson for sparring for Zepeda for this fight she's damn near the perfect facsimile for Shakur, only differences being she's a woman, she's slicker, and she hits a bit harder
