One upside to this is it more closely aligns his and Zurdo's schedules. Here's hoping the IBF play ball and we get that Unification in October.

I hope so. But unless Turki gets involved and offers Zurdo a lot of cash, i don't see Zurdo's team agreeing to this.

I hope Turki is as interested in cruiserweight as he is in heavyweights and light-heavyweights.

He seems to really like Opetaia. He's certainly had him on a fair share of Riyadh Season shows, and if I recall right Zurdo headlined one last fall as well. I'm feeling good about it getting made.

I'm more concerned about the winner being able to go Undisputed with the WBC champion. The whole situation around that title has just been a huge cluster **** for awhile now

Opetaia should be fighting Cinkara and get that mandatory out of the way now. Its gonna complicate his plans going ahead.

Squeo makes no sense, waste of time.

After Cinkara pulled out, the Nyika fight was registered as a mandatory fight, so Opetaia shouldn't be worried.

More likely he doesn't have a promoter who will get him into meaningful fights.

Back on the menu, may 3rd, I'm sure this will best out the canelo PPV and Garcia, Haney, Teofimo cards by many magnitudes.......unless Schwartz gets pulled

Badou Jack vs. Ryan Rozicki is off, since Rozicki has injured himself somehow.

The cruiserweight WBC title is cursed, I swear. Or maybe Rozicki is just the cursed one, since it only seems to get really messed up when he's involved. I'll take that as the answer if Badou Jack vs. whoever (possibly Mikaelyan) goes off without a hitch
