Not all of them aren’t. Also, the fights are determined by how the two guys match up on the night stylistically.
What’s delusional about it? Robinson had exceptional hand and foot speed. Knockout power in either hand. Incredible timing and technique. Terence wouldn’t have been favoured just because he’s the more modern fighter.
Probably the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever read on here. And the thought of Floyd stopping Ray genuinely makes me laugh out loud.
Imagine if Robinson fought twice a year like todays fighters do. Or better still imagine if Crawford or Mayweather fought every 2-4 weeks. I wonder what their records would look like?
So if they were so prehistoric why do fighters study them? James Toney was said to look at footage of Ezzard Charles and such. Mike Mccallum studied Ray Robinson.
Absolutely! I think most people that have been watching boxing for a very long time, feel that Fighters overall have slipped and are not as good as they once were. I know there is proof of athletes improving in sports over the years, but boxing is unique.
I mean sure that makes sense but its like automobiles- since thier inception they have improved dramatically over the years but yet there are still some that are coveted by people that would be considered prehistoric by others and its because they have stood the test of time. A skilled boxer is still a skilled boxer no matter what.
