Fight is ongoing as of the time of this post being uploaded, I have it 30-27 in favour of Lopez, Zhou has shown his grit however his footwork compared to his opponent is slow and he is only going forward, which allows Lopez to bounce off the corners, escape danger and respond from mid to long range.

I merged the two threads, and changed the title, although you can tweak it to your liking. Just post everything related to the WBC Grand Prix in here, instead of starting a new thread for every match.

The fight between Ukraine's Oleksandr Solomennikov and Holy Dorgbetor from Ghana was the most interesting one thus far. Solomennikov from Ukraine had kind of a Karen Chukhadzhyan style, with Dorgbetor reminding me a lot of Richard Commey.
Close fight, I had it a draw - but Dorgbetor gets the split decision. He's my personal favorite too. A lot to work on, but He has some potential and hopefully He can improve from fight to fight.

The talent level has been pretty good thus far, so shout out to the matchmakers, but most fights have been kinda meh in terms of action. That first KO was damn vicious tho.
10 more fights on the card if I am not mistaken.

I'm a bit disappointed to be honest, it's below Shobox level - has a feel of some medium level amateur tournament to me. I did not see anyone that I could see developing into World class contender - It's interesting enough though.

That 30 seconds horn is maybe the dumbest invention of all time by the way. Not sure what it's suppose to achieve, other than confuse fighters.

Fight between Yusuf Adisa Adeniji from Nigeria and Mexican Carlos Arteaga Orona was the first one that required the new "enhanced scoring" to decide who advances. Adeniji comes forward. He dominated the fight for the most part, but lost 2 points for holding and lost control in the last round, nearly giving the fight away. I'm glad He got the decision though. He has some potential, fights a lot like Julius Indongo. If He learns how to handle himself on the inside better or at least spoil in less obvious manner, He can be the dark horse in this competition.

Oddly enough the DAZN stream has a slight delay compared to the YouTube stream?! o_O
