Has there ever been someone calling a fight as horrible as bradley??

Bradley is by far one of the worst boxing announcers of all time. Never ever stops running his mouth.

 

The commentary and a lot of the opinions around this fight are ridiculous to me anyway. This was at least a close fight with hrgovic not doing enough to win a lot of the rounds. A draw or close win for joyce would be hard to argue against. And that with only a ten round fight which should be in hrgovic's favor and which is also ridiculous for that caliber of fighters. I mean ten rounds for two borderline top ten heavyweights? Shame.

And then everyone runs around and says joyce should retire when he was basically evenly matched with one of the supposed hopes for the division... I get that he takes and took a lot of punches but performance wise he is fine. He can crack the top ten if the referees just lean towards him in this fight. And I think he was defensively more responsible and successful than we are used to seeing him. Look how many punches dubois took from hrgovic and dubois is really in the top five right now ...

 

Shocking really, Joe Joyce had an amateur career the pillow fisted, B Level Timothy Bradley could only dream of. I don't know how he feels pompous enough to talk down about Joyce like that.

And putting the Pacquiao robbery aside, and the fact JM Marquez was never no welterweight, Joyce probably has better wins than Bradley with his wins over Dubois and Parker.

 

Ever heard Burt Lancaster at ringside? Check out Ali-Frazier I; he makes Bradley sound like Frank Sinatra by comparison.

Marvin Hagler was a shocker

 

B Level Bradley who was a top 10 P4P fighter for 6 years who won over 10 world title fights and beat a still good version of Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez no Welterweight ? He knocked out Pacquiao at the weight which is the best of win of his career ? Then dominated Alvarado like it was a sparring session after losing to Bradley.

Clueless comment.

 

The fight wasn't the least bit close. Hrgovic won almost every round handily.

 

Anyone who thinks that Hrgovic/Joyce was a close fight can't score a fight to save their life.

Joyce got outlanded in every round and the power punches were a landslide in favour of Hrgovic.

Infact I scored it a shut out for Hrgovic I couldn't find a single round for Joyce all he did was plod forward and constantly eat hard shots from Hrgovic not at all competitive.

Timothy Bradley is awful, but probably no worse than the mentally unhinged Teddy Atlas or the extremely biased fanboyish Max Kellerman or the incredibly stupid Chris Mannix.

But yes, Bradley is annoying.

Some ex-boxers are fine commentators: Antonio Tarver was very good, as is Pauli Malignaggi and Chris Algeri.

 

I can't think of a worse commentator. He sounds like he hates it and isn't really watching. He often has an imaginary fight and narrative happening in his head, can't hide his favouritism.
