Yeah he was still defending himself and then landed on the ropes.

I know a lot of people on here dislike coldwell but agree with him on Whitaker going straight to the opposing corner, first thing he thought of doing. I think he went back over again for seconds, definitely classless.

Was a really poor line of questioning and no wonder Andy Lee was annoyed. There was **** all in that, how any gossip queen type can make that a talking point for spitting is beyond me.

A terrible stoppage from the ref. I thought to myself he's gonna stop this as soon as Cameron was wobbled. Cameron can feel very hard done by. Whittaker comes across as a childlike knob as well and I look forward to the day he gets beat.

I like him, loved him as a fighter and he seems to be a great trainer but he’s a horrendous commentator.

Would have been interesting to see how Whittaker would have been in next round after expending so much energy given his questionable engine.

Hope Howard foster sleeps well tonight- does he realise boxing is a contact sport

Johnny Nelson has gone down in my estimation as well. Talking about emotion is nonsense - boxing is all about self-control and respect for your opponent. Take that away and you might as well be brawling in the gutter. Those last two fights saw the best and the worst of our sport.

Not sure mate. I thought it was bollocks at the time but in the slow motion they showed after the interviews it looked like he did.

Can’t stand Coldwell. Don’t know how he’s got the cheek to stand there slating others behaviour with some of the stuff he used to get up to.

Tbf I don’t think Cameron had any complaints. It wasn’t the worst stoppage I’ve ever seen but I always maintain that for “big” life changing fights or title fights the ref should always give the fighter a chance to go out on their shield or at least give the corner the decision to make.
