    Hi Guys.
For me it was, and will remain, Ali / Foreman, all the above are good pics and worthy of mention, but The Rumble left me exhausted, exhilarated, overcome, as I was making my way home at 4am, I kept involuntary shaking my head, had it been a dream, do he really do it, millions thought he couldn't, including the press, Boxing News, most if not of the dailys, the pundits, and my milkman, but he did, boy how he did, as I have said before, and if you were not around or to young, you cannot appreciate the magnitude of the task that fell before Ali, big, brooding, meanicncing , Foreman was seen as unbeatable, a giant among his peers, sure Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, and the misunderstood Liston were imposing champions, but Foreman was seen as indestructible, having bounced both Frazier and Norton around like schoolboys, only enhanced his frightening persona, we, that's most of the fighting fraternity felt for the safety of Ali, genuine concern for his his well being, how many times does that happen, so yes that fight, Alis triumph made an everlasting impression on my life, not just the boxing part.
stay safe fellow posters, chat soon.
    Mike.

By Scott Gilfoid: Wladimir Klitschko dominated Alexander Povetkin tonight in beating him by a 12 round unanimous decision in Moscow, Russia, but this has got to be the worst performance of Wladimir’s career by far.

I'm sorry the beauty of that performance went over your head. Have you tried following tennis or some other sport?

All of those gifs were Povetkin diving into Wlad not Wlad grabbing him btw

Yeah, if we're looking for performances where you just see a guy imposing defeat on his opponent as if by force of will, that's a good one.

Yes, don't know if a prime ATG been dissembled like that before or since.

EDIT. Rewatched it for the first time in a while and it's actually competitive except for the first and last round, but Sanchez is just so composed and looks thorughout like he's waiting for the right moment.

Ur a Micky mouse boxing fan. Povetkin fought the same way his entire career. None of his other opponents were reduced to SQUID boxing. The common denominator here is WK, not povetkin.
What u are is not a fan of the sport but a fan of personalities and identitys

I find it beautiful for the old man resistance, and the identity that never loses sight of itself, even during the most violent messages of disaster.

Right I'm the problem not the hater who comes onto every thread just to discredit a boxer and everyone associated with him..........

This week you say Wlad would beat Holmes. A few weeks ago you believed Wlad beats Holyfield in 3 fights back to back. Next time it will be Wlad beats Tyson , Ali ...
Youre a fanboy and a hypocrite. Not a serious fan of boxing. Anyone who blames Povetkin for being cheated like that is a lowlife imo

Yes because he has a style that would make it hard for them to deal with him not hard to realize this if you understand how styles work and access fighters objectively rather then discrediting their every step because of a personal dislike
