Stacked card on July 12: Shakur vs Zepeda, Berlanga vs Sheeraz, Puello vs Matias, Morrell vs Khataev

Yeah, his defense looked pretty bad too. Just keeping his hands down like that is basically inviting a knockout. I'm definitely reconsidering his chances.

His stamina is definitely an issue like I mentioned. He loses sharpness over the course of the fight.

 

So it IS possible to have a great card in the US WITHOUT al Turkey being involved? Who'd a thunk it!

 

Khataev reminds more of Jeff Lacy than Beterbiev. I think Morrell takes him right out, far bigger and more athletic.

I got:

Stevenson to outpoint Zepeda. Bad stylistic match-up for Zepeda IMO.

Sheeraz V Berlanga is a hard one. Good match-up and could be a great fight although both aren't that great at all, they're not bad but they're fringe contenders at best. Barely got Sheeraz on points. I think Adames is better than Berlanga - a bit surprised they didn't rematch but Sheeraz probably backed out of that one. Got a feeling Sheeraz will be more effective at SMW - I hate to say it as I'm really not a fan of him.

On his best day Matias stops Puello late I reckon.

Got Morrell stopping Khateav late too.

great card. cant wait. im not looking at the farmer fight at all that much. only thing for zepeda that concerns me is farmer isnt a power puncher and zepeda got buzzed a couple times. if farmer can drill him then so could shakur. great match up glad were getting what we want.

 

Hearing Sheeraz Vs Berlanga is the main event , not Shakur lol

I hope that Zepeda KO's Shakur but I am not as optimistic I reckon Shakur will fight safety first like he did against Valdez. I am not counting Zepeda out though but I think Shakur will fight scared as he knows Zepeda is a threat so he will be more on high alert than he was against Padley.

 

Shakur recently had to get down on his knees to Turki after he made a twitter post slagging off Turki about not getting paid enough LOL. These young guys are so pathetic always whining and airing dirty laundry on social media.
