statements like this are why I’d love to see him fight Hrgovic. Would be a serious test of his power and chin. If he could even KD Hrgovic, would prove he’s up there with Dubois, Zhang, etc. If he went the distance and didn’t get knocked down, would prove his chin is reasonably solid; Hrgovic isn’t a massive hitter but anyone who fights him is going to eat that right hand all night. Would also show how he does under pressure against a tough experienced operator. it’s the kind of fight that won’t happen but should. Casuals wouldn’t care about it, but I’d think the types who bother going on boxing forums and subreddits would line up to watch a true test of a real prospect. and hey, if Hrgovic actually won, it would really bolster his career. Plenty of upside for him too to take his conditioning seriously.
Oh boy that would be a great test, I rate Hrgovic and like you say would be a massive test of Itauma's endurance and chin. I think Moses is the next big thing and has all the skills required, but I'd probably still lean towards Hrgovic at this stage purely on experience and toughness. We still haven't seen how Itauma reacts to being clipped or how his chin holds up. There's no reason Itauma should be getting put in there with the likes of Balagun though, absolute waste of time fight, we already know he'll knock over guys like that in a round. I wanna see Hrgovic back in there again before the end of the year, another win or two against top 15 opposition should get him into a strong position for a title shot.
Maybe it's just me but it seems like Justis Huni has been around for yonks now , didn't he have like 5 pro fights then revert back to the Ams before resuming his pro career?.
I think he’s got all the ability to be the next big thing, need to see him tested against someone who can bang and will take him rounds. The opponent they’ve got lined up next is a joke, no way should he be taking 6 months out of the ring after doing 1 round demolition jobs.
