This content is protected Sounds like this is why Chris Lloyd left for whoever was asking the other week! Can’t remember who it was.
I'm also not a fan of the cheerleading crew , who steadfastly trot out the Emperors New Clothes in the face of absolute facts. Nor decent journos giving an honest opinion, (which obviously isn't the MR one) only to find themselves frozen out of future contests/events. If EH said it was raining outside I'd go to a window and check
The way Hearn dealt with Conor's failed tests was the final nail in the coffin for me. The hypocrisy, bare faced lies and complete lack of any morality was just to much to stomach. I'm not excepting promoters to be a role models, but he was just awful the last couple of years.
If Eddie Hearn is the world's best and greatest boxing promoter why wasn't he chosen over Dana White ? It must have hurt Eddie Hearn's soul and pride when His Excellency announced that Dana White is the man of the future in the world of boxing.
Because it was always Turki`s plan to start a boxing division like the UFC, he used the top promotors to get a foot-hold.
I'm warming to him too. Very dry sense of humour and coming across very well at the moment. He may or may not be the sly man many others accuse him of being, I have no way of knowing. Certainly the contract fiasco last week was embarrassing. But for me his stock is rising.
Got to the point with Hearn years ago that I expected nothing but lies and spin which he always consistently delivered. His two faced stance on Canelo failing a drugs test was classic Hearn - ban him for life unless I can earn some money from promoting him. Vermin.
Yes Turkey has used and spat out both Hearn and Warden. Will be funny when Turkey dispenses with both and we hear 'The Two Ronnies' give it large about Sportswashing
Pretty sure sky main event are showing the nigel benn v eubank 1990 fight at 10.45 tonight. Probably worth a watch. Pretty sure regardless of what happens with junior and connor it wont be a patch on the old mans fights.
I only just realised that Yarde v Arthur is on the card. Why? Can’t see how Arthur can make the adjustments to avoid getting beat early.
Has there ever been so much hype about a fringe world contender who's now past his best fighting a European level and that's being generous opponent? This is typical of the way boxing's going - you just know there's going to be an 'incident' at the weight-in, and whenever the two of them just happen to be in the same room.
