Not really, Bunce was working for BT/TNT rather than Queensberry, and now they’ve got the freedom to pick the broadcast team themselves, they’ve probably decided they don’t want him involved. He’d probably seen quite out of place anyway, they’ve got a much younger ‘vibe’ on DAZN.
So if you want to watch the Canelo card and the Times Square card, you have to sign up at £25/month, then pay 2 PPV's on top, all in the space of 2 days? Quality haha. Game changed.
I bought the Gevonta Davis vs Lamont Roach PPV Event and paid 9.95. I think it would be fair if existing DAZN customers could buy Ryan Garcia + Canelo PPV Events for a total price of 19.95.
Nothing fair about any additional cost for both of these cards for existing DAZN UK subscribers. DAZN UK Subscribers are now getting 2 buttholes (Hearn and Warren) producing exactly the same shyte as before. Any fight above general interest is Box Office including non title Benn v Eubank fights. Zero point in a DAZN UK subscription.
The next two QP cards I think are good quality, but as a stand alone boxing sub, that has to be the standard
Tomorrow's Matchroom show is really bad. There are almost no fights on the card where there is excitement about the outcome.
Asking people to pay to watch events that are purely made for sports washing is an absolute disgrace. If I wanted to sign up to DAZN and watch the 3 cards (I don’t), it would cost me £85 in 8 days.
Chavez Jr is a completely shot fighter and worthless today. Jake Paul wins easily. The only PPV DAZN has announced that has interest in our part of the world is Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn. Forget the rest.
Mr E. Hearn could sell these mugs a melted ice cream on a boiling day that fell into a dog turd and they would be still queuing up to buy. Has the feel of a Colchester United v Crawley Town match and should be nowhere near Box Office. Sadly Egg Man and dance partner are going to make millions.
