Usyk is bigger than Ruiz, hits harder, has skill many levels above, is busy, and has an iron chin. Plus southpaw. About the worst style for Jones. Roy doesn't survive 12, even that version.

Roy jones was the best in the sport with the above fighters in or around their prime. He was untouchable for over a decade and was the man. Barely lost a round in his pomp. Yes his fall has been dramatic but usyk has not reigned close to as long,or been above such talented fighters for a long period. Nobody thought a prime Floyd was as good as Roy. I doubt you will find many respected analysts putting usyk over Floyd

Usyk has completed the entire boxing game pro and amateur whilst being a clean athlete and outclassing every man he fought. No man with a love affair with the canvas can be put in the same sentence as Usyk.

Usyk has achieved more than Floyd and should be ranked above him absolutely. Most of those things you mentioned are just based on number of fights, that's not how you judge a fighter. Usyk is undisputed and undefeated in two weight divisions, included the unlimited weight division. Doing it in less fights is a greater achievement, I don't understand your reasoning. You also don't absorb the achievements of the guys you're ranked above pound for pound at the time. Your post makes no sense and Roy is my favourite fighter of all time. Usyk cleaned out cruiserweight and heavyweight without record padding fights and pointless mandatories. The fact you want to penalise him for that is bizarre. Usyk ranks ahead of Roy without a doubt. Pound for pound prime Roy is probably the greatest. We aren't talking about hypothetical relatives, we are talking absolute achievements. Usyk is above Roy and Floyd without a doubt.

Even pound for pound Usyk challenges him, considering the size difference between him and his opponents at heavyweight. You can talk about Roy at heavyweight but Ruiz was only 220 pounds, Usyk has fought with a far bigger size disadvantage against far better fighters than Ruiz at heavyweight.

roy at heavyweight wasn't all that impressive to me and Ruiz was perfectly selected for him. Usyk clearly the better heavyweight.

 

Floyd has a far better case for rating ahead of Usyk than vice versa. Much greater depth and more longevity. More dominant as well

 

How can you possibly rank Usyk above Mayweather ?

Mayweather has beaten multiple fighters considered great Usyk hasn't beaten 1 great fighter.

Mayweather has beaten multiple top 10 P4P fighters Usyk hasn't beaten 1.

Mayweather is a 5 weight division champion compared to 2 for Usyk.

Mayweather has way more wins against top 10 ranked fighters and way more world title wins.

Compare their best names and Mayweather would clearly have better names and that's simply because the lower weightclasses have more talent and that's always been the case.
