A strapping, athletic, John Lester Johnson-hued 220 pounder who took Page and Pinky's ZERO's and beat a slew of 80's contenders... Not the same thing, bro-ham.

Bro-ham? Grow up. Trevor Berbick was not great, he could be taken rather easily.

Rather easily? Who on Dempsey's list could have taken the Berbick who beat master boxers Page and Thomas?

Then there is the fact that Jack ran from any boxers of color (let alone heritage Jamaican boxers) with the speedy footwork that Tunney would be proud of, bro-ham.

Trevor Berbick most notable wins was probably against Pinklon Thomas, Greg Page and John Tate but arguably the best version of Berbick was the one that challenged a prime Larry Holmes in 1981 and became the first challenger to go the full 15 rounds distance against Holmes after Holmes had stopped his first eight challengers which incidentally, was a record equaling heavyweight title defence KO streak that still stands to this day.

If I had money on it, I think Dempsey would still be favoured to win against that Berbick but I doubt if it would be a forgone conclusion or as easy as most people here have suggested.
