I think this is peak, action full and equal matchup, one dude has a deeper resume with closer decisions, the other dominated an era,but unfortunately a weak one.

    Who wins?

Foster knocks him out in an action packed fight, he begins to land uppercuts and body shots as Galindez wilts.

Galindez was very good but maybe a bit too crude to beat Foster. I think Galindez stuns Foster but then gets caught by a big left hook and is then stopped.

    Hi Buddy.
Agree with your first assertion, Galindez was very good, as to the second, not entirely on board, he looked crude granted, but there was a deceiving subtleness to his brand of crudeness, he was not unlike Lamotta to a extent in that he feigned disinterest, would lol on the ropes, looking like he was not ready or willing for engagement, the opponent would then see this as an invite to unload, mistake ! he would either absorb the incoming salvos on his gloves or shoulders or by head movement, of course some must get through, but he had a good chin, then our man would throw short educated hooks and crosses to the bewilderment of the opponent, guile and craft were his stock in trade, I well remember the young Duran being described as crude, lacking in fundamentals, relying on his undoubted power, how wrong were we, so yes Galindez looked crude, but look deeper and he was cute.
stay safe dmt, chat soon buddy.

Foster by KO...saw him defend his title in person in 1969...the man was a beast at Lt HEAVY...an all time great!

Foster all the way but will be a tough fight until Foster ends it late.

Fosters underrated jab controls the distance and makes getting inside on Bob very difficult for Galindez. It might go the distance depending on how Victor's fragile skin holds up under that kind of assault.

Man what an awesome post thank you so much for pointing that out.
While Victor gave the appearance of being crude there certainly were very subtle wrinkles to his game that are overlooked.

Personally i just think Foster was a half a level above, and my what power. His jab also seldom gets talked about enough. He'd control the majority of ring time with his length and jab, Victor would have his moments as he's a heckuva fighter but i see Foster leading on points before stopping him around the 10th.
