Chris Eubank Jr Vs Connor Benn scorecards

Would just be interested to see anyone else's scorecards for last night?

I scored the fight and had Eubank jr winning. But was interested to see he out landed Benn in every round. Also some people feel the scorecards were wide.

I did have some close rounds that was 50/50 on round 1 especially which I felt Benn edged on aggression. I believe round 9 or 10 was also a close round (would have to watch back)

I had Eubank by 2 as well but can understand the scorecards because the some of the rounds I gave to Benn were very close.

Would watch it back to score again but cba tbh. For me the only round Benn clearly won was the third I think where he visibly hurt Eubank and Eubank had to hold.

Had Benn tried to use the jab a bit more and target the body, the rounds would have been way closer but he was evidently getting outlanded as you said.

 

Yeah agreed, I felt Jr looked very lethargic in the opening 3, thought the weight cut may have got to him but from rounds 3 onwards it was either a Eubank round or a 50/50 round which is why I can see why some people would have had the scores wider

 

I’m not sure how anyone could score the first round for Benn. Thankfully none of the judges did. Eubank landed more and Benn looked horrendous with his wild misses. It’s okay looking more aggressive but you have to land punches as well.
Other than that after a second watch, your scorecard is spot on.

I'll have to rewatch the fight and the first round. Maybe I was focusing to much on whether Eubank jr was weight drained and just felt he looked lethargic. I had it a close round, probably would have given it even at the time but try to give the round to someone

I also scored 115 - 113 to Eubank Jr.

(116 - 112 was too wide)

 

Really enjoyed the main event last night and thought Eubank edged it 115-113.

 

Benn doing better than expected has clouded the judgment of some fans.

Just because a fighter surprises you, doesn't mean you score the close rounds for them.
