I think yesterday felt like DAZN's first big PPV night. Adam Smith adds a lot of credibility. His commentary when Eubank Sr walked out was great.
Roy Jones was friends with Gerald McClellan but he wasnt as vicious either. That saying isnt true everytime. Benn didnt commit crimes either.
Loved the fight last night, both men deserve huge credit. There was a lot of hype and the fight lived up to it and more, they both left absolutely everything in that ring. The fitness, heart and desire they both showed deserves huge props. They tried to stack the deck in Benn’s favour with so much sh1thousery so I was heavily rooting for Eubank. He had them all on strings in the build up and then got his hand raised on the night. Senior turning up in the manner he did was just pure and utter gold. Absolutely brilliant. Benn can come again at 147 no doubt about it however because the fight was so good and there’s so much money to be made in a rematch, I think they go down that route. Eubank is not the same fighter he was, his legs aren’t what they were. You used to be able to hit him with a bat and he didn’t go anywhere but the weight, age etc are creeping in. He still however landed the crisper cleaner shots and finished the fight stronger. I’d like to see him step away from the game now but money talks.
It was huge last night Froch v Groves captured the public’s imagination as well surprised no mention of Lennox v Bruno
Benn hasn’t fought at 147 for around 3 years. I don’t see how he can get back down, 154 maybe but Benn would have to improve dramatically to win a world title.
Billy Joe Saunders is an accident just waiting to happen. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in jail.
Funny and he s easy to hate. But then go look at those scars on his left hand-you see them easily in thic clip. Yikes! This sport is hard.
