Holmes: Foreman a "fraud"

this is something a man doesnt do. wait til the man isnt here to talk garbage about him. holmes is one of the most bitter and ignorant men ever to come out of boxing. and theres a seriously high bar. i thought this about him even before he said this. i respect his skills, boxers should study his jab, but he doesnt impress me as a man.

I have always rated Foreman higher than Holmes, who was not only the benefactor of a weak era, and was saved several times, notably with the slow ass count vs Snipes.

 

I’m not saying Larry didn’t say that- he’s always had that insecure, prickly way about him, but the “article” linked in the OP reads like a 2022 AI piece. Tell me what all you see wrong with just this one snippet:

I think if Larry did call Foreman a fraud, we’ll be hearing a lot more about it.

 

Just to add a little context here, I think these secondsout articles take quotes from past interviews and try to present it as part of the present, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Holmes said this years ago and didn’t “wait until Foreman passed” before saying it. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

 

That sounds more probable than Larry saying it recently.

Holmes is a classless dip****. Always has been. Ask Holyfield who gave him a tougher fight and I bet anything he’d say George.

Also Holmes has always felt the need to **** on Morrison I notice. “Everybody know Morrison beat George” Also has said other stuff trying to dismiss Morrison. Also Marciano as everyone knows.

Even if it’s not a recent comment, Holmes is a classless human being. The guy has zero charisma and has always been pissed that others get rated higher than him.
