Watching the interviews Ajagba seems more switched on. Bakole seems kind of lackluster.

His coach says that he has lost 35 lbs since the Parker fight. We'll see at the weigh ins. He definitely looks lighter, but obviously still fat. 2 months isn't a lot of time.

I kinda see Bakole taking Ajagba lightly. Ajagba is switched on like you said and confident. Kinda surprised to see him that firely.

Wonder if losing that much in that short amount of time will have an effect on him.

Bakole was playing it off in one of the interviews like Ajagba is all fired up because this is his big opportunity and he Bakole has been there already before so he is more relaxed.

Both of them are taking this #1 in Africa thing serious so that is good to watch.

Ajagba might have the smaller frame but he is tall and got range. And he can punch. I am not that sold on Bakole’s punch resistance.

I think it’s a hard fight to predict.

I'm not even sure if that 315lbs baseline was his legit weight, it was straight of a plane, fully clothed with his phone and on a random scale. He could have easily been 305lbs an hour later.

Still I wonder how much quality boxing training he got done as his camp sounds mostly like a fat camp.

Has Bakole fought someone with a longer reach than him before? Maybe Yoka but Ajagba is much more game than a broken nosed, injured ankle Yoka.

I could also see Bakole having demons still from his last fight, which also wasn't that long ago and Ajagba can punch. Still favoring Bakole, but at closer odds than a lot seem to have him at.

Could have an effect, but it's probably normal for Bakole to lose that amount of weight during camp. He always blows up massively inbetween fights. Definitely not ideal.

Interesting fight, I think we will see a very different Bakole from the one we saw against Parker in February. This time the Congolese will be in shape and in my opinion he could win inside the distance after an entertainment match.

Honestly I find Canelo's event more interesting than Garcia's. In the undercard there are matches with an uncertain ending, Bakole - Ajagba, Surace - Munguia 2 and Jack - Mikaeljan. Instead in the other event I struggle to imagine a surprise, I think Garcia, Haney and Lopez will win their respective fights.

Bakole is fat and slow, Ajagba is fast and in shape. Bakole will kiss the canvas again.

Bakole has VERY fast hands. He's slow on his feet tho.

Did Bakole weigh 299 lbs? If so, I think that is bad news for Bakole.
