And yet Usyk has more quality in 8 heavyweight fights than Parker does in 39.

It's not just how many fights, it's how good they are - and Kabayel's resume is packed full of very poor fighters... Worse still, between his second best win (Chisora) and his best (Zhang) is 7-8 years of primarily bums even Wilder would blush at.

Chisora beat up Parker the first time it was seen as a 50/50 fight and a possible robbery. Wilder was shot and you called him fringe even in his prime. Is Takam really better than Sanchez ? Ruiz is a decent win, but is pretty overrated too, Ortiz was 50 and actually outboxed Ruiz beyond the knockdowns

Losses count. Especially unavenged ones. Parker's resume isn't far better for me, but definitely more proven

Before Saudi money got involved he was fighting the likes of Kevin Johnson, Rudenko and Rovcanin until very recently. Before Zhang his best win was Chisora who'd already had 7 losses at that point.

He's a very aesthetically pleasing fighter but let's not pretend that he has ever really gone for it in the 14 years he became pro.

If we are judging him by his Undefeated record that 0 is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Most English are bad, but not all.

Yeah let's see how Kabayel reacts against better opposition. Parker has been battle tested (Ruiz, Joshua, Wilder, Big Bang). Kabayel has fought 1 Frankenstein and a lot of lower level opponents. No comparison at this time.

Really ? Witherspoon , old chisora , pre prime dubois ? Thats three of the 5 opponents he has faced , but thats another story .

I agree with you parker has a more robust resume than kabayel but kabayels wins over makhmudov , sanchez and zhang are also impressive . I thing we agree a win over zhang is more worth than lets say over witherspoon .

Parker and kabayel are both great athletes imho

I like Kayabel a lot but his body work leaves him so open that the first really skilled fighter he faces might well exploit that. I’m very interested to see how his career plays out.
Parker under Andy Lee is a lot smarter than he used to be.
This is the HW match up I’d most like to see.

Yeah but apart from Zhang who else did he actually fight that Parker wouldn't beat?

Don't get me wrong I like Kabayel, but their resumes are miles apart.

Its the fault of the 4 ducks for not giving him a shot. He was fighting who was available at the regional level as the EBU champ. Parker got his shot in 2016. Kabayels been waiting since then.

Kabayel beat Sanchez and Makhmudov. Sanchez is better than Chisora and Makhmudov at the time Kabayel fought him was undefeated.

I would just wish for the four of them to fight between them. That's how it should be done to find out tthe exact hierarchy.

I think all of them lose to usyk so those fights are actually a bit less enticing than any matchup between dubois, kabayel and parker. All great matchups

Makh's best win was a 43 year old Takam who also got flogged by Vianelo recently which shows he never had a place in the Top 10. He was a massively overhyped prospect.

Your doing Chisora dirty by that. He is - by a yardstick - a more proven fighter than Sanchez whose best win is probably Junior Fa.

Where is the evidence that Kabayel was being ducked?

Chisora is 41 and looks shot to pieces. Im not ruling out Sanchez beating a few guys who beat Chisora and Chisora got way more opportunities. Resumes don't win fights, that's why they're people who voted for Zhang were perplexed when Kabayel did a job on him, something Parker couldn't do. It was the same old ass Zhang who put Parker down and KO'd wilder

Kabayel will beat Parker when it's all said and done. Kabayel is better than Andy Ruiz, I dont care about the overrated as hell aj win, we've seen Ruiz limitations against shot Ortiz and Miller. Kabayel is more versatile

Kabayel wasn't being ducked as an individual at least not until recently. The champs in this period were not fighting new contenders much regardless.

Since the end 2017 heres the list of 1st time challengers to get shots at Fury, AJ, Wilder and Usyk.

    Breazeale
    Seferi
    Schwarz
    Wallin
    Dubois
    Ngannou

Kabayel should not have had to wait this long.

And yet since Chisora he literally fought only once a year until 2023. So that - plus removing himself from an IBF Eliminator with Bakole - hasn't helped his case.

Look, he's a very good fighter it cant be denied - but this narrative that Kabayel is being hard done by just isn't there. Like I said, up until now he has never really gone for it.

It wasn't really possible to "go for it" if almost no one gets title shots for 7 years unless they already got one.

Under the current system there is no reason for any top fighter to accept an eliminator with another top guy with no hardware on the line.
