In terms of clear, blatant corruption? I would say Sturm-Oscar because the Hopkins fight was made prior and that was a money maker. The actual fight was competitive but Sturm clearly won and everyone knew they would rob him.

Pac-Bradley was horrible and Williams-Lara was the worst I have seen live.

    Ward vs Kovalev both fights.
I really dont understand how You can finish fight without counting even when dude throw balls combo...
Golovkin vs Canelo also was disqisting

And that not even because this fight was not close. That's because level of this fight and situation.
They just remove best fighter of weightclass here who was dominators.

RJJ in Korea was just atrocious all round, awful decision and a very bad look for the sport.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley 1, Burton vs Augustus, Sven Ottke vs Robin Reid, Hagler vs Antoufermo,

It's bad really, when you think of it there has been loads of sly moves in boxing

The worst robbery of all time??? Lmfao! Most of these fights listed aren't even robberies just close fights that the fighter you liked didn't get the nod in. One of the worst the worst robberies in boxing history is rjj in the Olympics learn the difference goofies.

Ward over Kovalev for me, and it’s not even close. It was outrageous and obvious corruption.

I agree. Was a rough period in boxing. Been a fan since the late 1980’s, and genuinely swore I wouldn’t watch boxing again after those two. Felt like us fans were being treated like mugs. Felt like the money invested in boxing was demanding a return, and wanted both a US star, and for the Canelo superstardom to continue its ascent. I still feel angry about it.

listening to the Mannix podcast recently, and he was discussing the Usyk vs Dubois low blow controversy - and he is so dismissive and arrogant in his confidence that there was nothing wrong with the shot, but then on another episode he’s just casually referring to Wards exposing of Kovalev by getting a body shot KO, without once mentioning how controversial that was.

Im not commenting on Usyk vs Dubois - but you tell me which lowblow(s) was lower out of the two?

Geez, Loma vs Haney too - yeah, it’s similar to Ward Kov, in the fact that it’s not the width of the scorecards, it’s more to do with what’s at stake and how obvious the fix was in. Just another fight result that defied what the overwhelming public/media/expert consensus was, and at the highest of stakes.

Thing is, I used to like both Canelo and Haney - and didn’t dislike Ward, just loved Kov.

But after those robberies, and the way the recipients dealt with them, I stopped liking those guys. Had the opposite effect of making them stars to me. Canelo aside, I feel like it turned people off those fighters. The boxing public isn’t as dumb as the boxing machine takes them for.
