Griffith wasn’t really a big middleweight…and I just think Duran is better in every category except physical strength

Duran would beat a number of good middleweights. He possibly beats Ray Robinson at that weight as Ray never faced anyone so crafty. I can't see him beating Monzon, Greb, or Fitzsimmons. However he's in the fight with almost anyone at middleweight really.

Maybe Arthur Abraham. Not many if the better guys from the last forty years though.

I think Duran from Hagler fight could take Sergio Martinez.

Best I think he could beat is Dick Tiger.
Tigers strengths could be nullified by Duràns brilliant countering ability, and unique ability to fight in close.
He wouldn't stop Tiger, but he definitely could out point him if he's focused and in shape.
Fighters like Greb, Walker, Zale, Lomatta, Graziano, also fit into a style Duran could succeed against if he's focused and in shape.
Personally based on the lack of talent of Middleweights of the last 20yrs he'd do well against most of them, yes including Canelo Alvarez and Triple G.
Oh I forgot we were talking about actually great Middleweights, not media and Fanboy created one's. Sorry.

After considering this I think Roberto could out point Gennady Golovkin. If Canelo confused him Duran would slip and counter him all night

Nino Benvenuti comes to mind. Mike McCallum vs the best middleweight version of Duran would be a great fight.
