Cardenas may have been beat, but his stock gone way up.

Inoue made an adjustment and wasn't going to get hit with that hook again.

I really don't know if Inoue should go past 122. His lack of size is already starting to show.

Inoue is first ballot special but his horizon is quickly approaching. Enjoy what's left.

I think the worst thing that could happen for Cardenas was landing that left. He went to that same well all night and Inoue was on to it.

As expected, Inoue saved this otherwise crap boxing weekend. Big props to Inoue and for Cadenas for making it such an entertaining fight!

Inoue is a flawed fighter. That everyone knows already. But one thing you can’t take away from him is his toughness and his ability to adjust midway and still managing to finish the fight in explosive fashion. That’s greatness right there.

As for Cardenas his stock just went up high! Came to fight and didn’t just came to survive! Gave his best and managed to score a knockdown. I would like to see him again soon! He deserves another title shot with that effort he put on.

Well done to these gentlemen for a great night.

Still this. I'm always going to be worried going forward in the first couple of rounds of any Inoue fight above 118lbs.

it was a great fight but from round 4 on Cardenas was getting blasted out. I think a rematch would be even more one sided.

Him and Vazquez from the co-main. These champs couldn't showcase like this if their opponents weren't so game-tough-determined.

Between crawford, usyk and inoue, i thought inoue might have the longer mileage but it seems he's starting to show vulnerabities now as well
