Most likely but I think Inoue has real power and is willing to take a punch to land a punch. But Rigo packed granite too.

I'll always wonder how prime Rigo would've fared against prime Loma...maybe 124? Cause I could see Inoue doing a poor man's Loma too...

I think Donaire was just as lethal as Inoue (at least with the left hook), but more defensively sound. Inoue seems easy hit and believes in his offense to overwhelm opponents. Against a prime Rigondeaux, that wouldn’t work out though.

Lomachenko was quite a bit bigger than Rigo and would therefore always give him problems.

I really think Inoue is the better boxer. Both will be known for having shakier chins. Rigo could definitely drop Naoya but I don't see him winning most rounds and probably he doesn't survive

Rigo. Easier than people think. Rigo dominated a better Donaire, Inoue had all he could handle with a faded Donaire.

People really must've forgot. Prime Rigo was something else. I love Loma but he beat a blown up shell of Rigo.

Rigos chin was pure glass he doesn't last two rounds with Inoue.

lol cmon bro you are tripping

Rigo had fought at 125lbs before, he went up 3lbs for Loma! 3 freaking lbs

And Loma didn't even use size at all.

Rigo won't have enough to keep Inoue at bay for 12 rounds. Rigo keeps his lead hand too low. Inoue is too awkward and explosive for him not to eventually catch Rigo and Rigo doesn't have the chin to withstand it. It will be highly competitive in the first half with Inoue taking over and eventually stopping Rigo late.

Keep in mind all of the times Inoue has been hurt has been early in the fight. There are somr adjustments Inoue is making too where he's not getting caught into the fight...and that's after going through two division guantlets...

Not his natural weight class, was at the end of his career. I give Loma the same excuse for coming up short at 135 - he's a perfect 126er and could've camped out there undefeated.

Nery was washed up and Cardenas was a nobody. And we saw what Rigo did to a prime Donaire.

    Save it.

'end of his career' lol Rigo is still fighting now 8 years later!. He has a fight scheduled for next month. It was only halfway through his pro career. He was in the top 10 P4P at the time. Many people predicted he was going to beat Loma.

There's always excuses. It'd be nice if Rigo fans just admitted the obvious, Loma was always the better fighter. If the fight had been made at Featherweight the same thing would've happened. #levels.

I don't think Inoue lands much on Rigo and wouldn't be much or maybe any bigger. Maybe he would be smaller? I'd probably be rooting for Inoue, but he doesn't lay a glove on Rigo who wins a ****me boring decision.

You guys see Scull run around last weekend for 12 rounds? Sure, Rigo would stop and trade a few times but otherwise it's a Cuban Tour de France until Inoue finally touches him.

Jumping 2 divisions from jr featherweight to jr lightweight isn't a 3lb difference nor is 125 to 130. Rigondeaux faced a full fledged jr lightweight. Also there's no such thing as not using your size in boxing. Lomachenko's size was his size, there's no way around it.
