Crawford should be third, but he can climb in September,or maybe fall?

It's hard to have anyone in the top 3 bar those guys, but bivol is closing in

 

If Crawford beats Canelo he's clear number 1 in my eyes.

 

3 of the top 5 are on the verge of retirement.

I say clear too, but usyk could fight Parker/Kabayel and maybe stay in front

If Crawford beats canelo and usyk fights Fury/AJ? Then Crawford should leapfrog him

I'm sure you agree that bud/usyk/inoue are all top class fighters and have remarkable achievements

I don't necessarily disagree, I just don't think he's got anywhere near the achievements to include him... He's always been heavily hyped, but for someone who should be a bit of a veteran by now he's hopelessly underproven, thanks, it would appear, to super cautious (zero guarding) matchmaking.

Even in a weak field, I don't see him anywhere near up there.

I like Janibek, Ball and Murtazaliev, and maybe on the eye test you could swing considering them as P4P fighters, but I don't think they have had the dance partners for them to be P4P just yet. You could probably say the same about Ennis.
