Yes, thank You Captain Obvious. The fact that our opinions on the outcomes in fantasy fights also don't "count" should be noted as well, in case someone was going to check Duran's record on boxrec or wikipedia and look for Jermain Taylor win or loss depending on the results of the poll.

There were enough official scorecards He was behind on. He was behind vs Abraham as well.

I had Taylor winning the first fight by a point myself but it was very close. I haven't got round to the rematch yet.

Speaking of down on the cards, Duran went down against Laing, Hagler, Leonard, Simms, and Lawlor in bouts contested at middle or super middle. And that's stopping at 91.

All those fights were close (and interesting, so have fun with them). I wouldn't call any of them a robbery. Point is, Taylor was never some kind of dominant master boxer. Every time He fought a skillfull, crafty opponent - He struggled. He was fortunete that at middleweight, all those close calls went his way, or at least did not go against him. There would be plenty of openings and flaws to exploit for a crafty old fox like Middleweight Duran.

I had Taylor edging Hopkins in both fights. Hopkins is a bit overrated as a middleweight, his resume at middleweight ain't that great.

There's plenty of people that scored for Hopkins twice. Very close fights.

Your scoring is terrible on the whole. Of course Toney wins every close one ever but Hopkins loses them.

Fight 1 - People that actually get paid to score fights had it 17 for Hopkins, 2 for Taylor, and two draws. Look at all those cards having Hopkins 116-112 or even 117-111. You are actually right, this fight wasn't that close lol.

This proves nothing. You are cherry picking. What was Lederman's score?

I'd say it proves that plenty of people had Hopkins beating Taylor.

Who's the person running "Classic fights revisited" series on here? @dmt , maybe B-Hop vs Taylor fights would be good ones to do next?

True, but on this day they were getting paid to write about, and score a boxing match.

Cherry picking? I put forth every scorecard on the boxrec page for the fight.

It proves a helluva lot. You're trying to scam that the fight wasn't even close. If it wasn't a close fight it was because Hopkins won it by a sizeable margin not Taylor.

Harold Lederman is the only one who was actually trained to score fights, and also paid for it. He scored it for Taylor.
