Would Valuev be top 10 in current era

This thread still going on? Ancient gatekeeper Chisora is top 10 in "this era" ffs, Valuev's got a great shot of being in the top 10...

 

SNV would be top 5 in this era. I favor Usyk, Fury, and Zhang to score a win over SNV.
A few others, maybe could beat him, but probably not.

Chisora has more power than Valuev and a far higher punch out-put.

Valuev is the favourite in a close fight, for me the final result depends on how Chisora fights. If he fights super aggressively from the start, he loses on points. He should try to counterattack Valuev or box smart,in the first rounds, progressively increasing his aggression.

 

Chisora has quicker hans than Valuev and a good chin, he could walk through Valuev`s punches, Chisora is far better than anybody Valuev beat, including a washed eld, Chisora would throw more than Holy did or any of Valuev`s other opponents.

 

Would you back Zhang to KO him?

Big call!!

Can't see Zhang beating Valuev on cards - he gasses way too fast for that, even if a 10-round bout, Valuev would UD him IMHO.

 

My thinking is Big Bang Zhang can stop him. He's nearly as big, fairly durable, and has the skills to reach Valuev's chin with his big punch.

Yeah if it goes to the cards, I'd favor SNV.
