I just gave a few of the early swing rounds to Wood, gave Wood’s definite rounds to him, and also one of the mid swing rounds, it’s just that the rounds Cacace won, he won them more clearly.

He didn’t voluntarily turn his back, he was half off balance whilst being hurt, he was in much worse condition through several points in the Conlan fight.

Good solid fighter; I think his feet and hands just a but slower than the other super feather champs

He was turning his back and literally running from Cacace. His corner made the right decision.

I think Wood was slightly slurring his words there, might be time for retirement, maybe because he’s just took some big punches, but in an interview just before the fight, I thought he slightly was then, but maybe I’m reading too much into it.

He was running because he ended up in a position where he was facing away, and didn’t have enough time to turn and set himself, so he had to do that at that moment in time to stay away.

I wonder who Cacace will fight next. Last year he said he couldn't make the weight, but now I guess he will stay if he can secure a lucrative bout. Foster will supposedly face Fulton next - he is out of the picture. Should Nunez win, I reckon he will face Ray Ford. Lamont Roach will face Davis again, possibly Batyrgaziev could be upgraded to the full status - that fight could happen and would be exciting. Finally you have Navarette - should he be victorious tonight, that would be another interesting one. Plus Frank is tight with the WBO. However would Arum allow it? Navarette at this point is kept around, so he can be feed to the likes of Keyshawn Davis and Raymond Muratalla. Or would he send him to Belfast, because Bob seems annoyed with practically all of his fighters besides Inoue.

On a side note. I lowkey wanted Cacace to come out to this song. It's more fitting than "Zombie" from the Cranberries.

There wouldn’t have been much of a difference regardless. Woods was hurt and it was only a matter of time. His corner made the right decision to end it before he took anymore unnecessary punishment.

He wasn't running, he was staggering and losing balance because Cacace was battering him from one side of the ring to the other, and he was so out on his feet he he could barely stand up straight.
