I thought we were reasoning on whether the stoppage was the right decision. Who ‘gives a ****’ about what? What are you actually referring to? The discussion as a whole that you actively were involved in up until now? Or something else that I’m missing?

It’s not hostility, it’s a genuine question because I’ve been addressing each point at a time throughout this entire discussion.

Wood was inactive for the entire year of 2024 - he hadn't fought in a year and a half, despite coming off a couple of good wins in 2023.

It has been said many times that inactivity ruins a boxer. I've seen it happen many many times.

Cacace had a lower KO% leading into this fight than Conlan leading into his fight with Wood.

Conlan isn’t regarded as a huge puncher, but he wasn’t seen as feather fisted going into that, probably round about the same as Cacace, Cacace actually isn’t a huge puncher, he just puts them together well, but doesn’t have that high of a KO%.

I’d say he punches harder than his record suggests, but would probably say he has ok power.

Remember I'm an American, I'm still watching boxing, it's on all night. Just not in the mood to argue in a loop for the next 2 hours.

Cacace has always been underrated on here. He might not be A+ elite but there are very few better than him

Thanks. Likewise, squire. I'm loitering. Part watching the boxing, part browsing the forum, whilst tired and lacking the motivation and energy to focus much on either.

He was clearly done and wanted out. You see how he turned his back and was trying to run away before quickly turning around right before the towel was thrown. He had 48 seconds left. And still had 3 more rounds to go. He wasn’t going to make it to the final bell.

All fully understandable, squire. Our prime beginnings are all there for all to see.

 Indeed, squire. I'm still suffering from PTSD from the Times Square card the other week

Great scene. Two kings right there. Gods even. Dare I say it they're so godly they might even be above Brit Level

Yeah that was shite last week, it gave me flashbacks to fight cards during COVID, boxing without crowd hype is not for me.
It was nice to see Ryan Garcia get beat, he deserved that for a number of reasons obviously because he is a drug cheat but also because he got driven to the ring in the bat mobile and didn’t have the decency to wear all black, they should burn it after that.
It was pretty surprising that none of the promoters spotted the flaws of putting an event on in Times Square, I admit I didn’t expect it to be that flat, even the rigging and staging looked amateurish, then when it panned to the public in Times Square they either weren’t interested or weren’t aware that the event was going on, one of the most ill conceived events I can remember.

Did a little digging...Cacace's father is from Italy. Which explains his non Irish name and his handsome features.
