Typical top rank. I knew when I saw judges taking forever(just like loma/haney), they would protect the A side. I truly believe they stopped the fight when they did because Nav was still ahead but if the fight continued, Saurez had the momentum to take it

Another classic night of Top Rank on ESPN.

Company doing what they can to help their fighter (erroneous claim, plus calling fight off when Navarrete was in no immediate danger from cut, but Suarez was very much in ascension), then the comms insult the audiences intelligence yet again by trying to tell them that they aren’t seeing what is clearly in front of them.

that was a fun fight, with good brave performances by both men. Just spoiled as usual by the garbage promotion and broadcast.

Close replay shows a clear cut from punch. Before punch clean. after punch cut was there but blood not flowing yet. The sliding on side of face cause a rip to make blood gush.

Will they do the right thing and overrule for Suarez

I feel your pain, but on the bright side, you get a second chance.

Let's rewind a few years back, Johnnie Rice hits Vianello with a punch and opens a cut, ref rules it a headbutt. Fight is called and even though the commission has no instant replay ESPN convinced them to look at it, at which point they award the fight immediately to Rice by KO. Did ESPN do the same here? We have precedent.

    2 things about that fight:

    1. That was funny seeing 96 year old Lou Moret, who was somehow the same age when he refereed the Klitschko-Lewis fight ringside, scoring, and
    2. That was a damn punch that caused that cut; even blind a$$ Lou 'Yoda' Moret could see that

    Robbery..

Missed the fight - clearly a punch caused the cut.

Ok yeah, definitely a punch. Can see red after the punch landed. Tho can they analyse to this extent real time?

No, i mean the video. Im giving them the benefit of the doubt cause it really is hard to see for the untrained eye. I meant if they can zoom this close and enhance it for better viewing real time?

Cause if they can but dont then yeah thats BS
