Oleksandr Usyk is clearly the best fighter of the 21st century uncontested.

Again, just because one guy who wasn't caught did PEDs doesn't mean that everyone who wasn't caught did them. That is absurd, almost comically bad logic. Pick any random thing a person can do and extrapolate that logic out.

    Good luck to you.

Almost any other action is a false equivalence. Professional Athletes are hilariously encouraged to take PEDs by the competitive setting and by other PED users. Almost 60% of Olympic athletes admitted they used PEDs by survey, but only 1% of those tests officially come back positive.

I'm not trying to think in black and white. I don't require direct evidence to lose trust in any boxers when the evidence already points to the majority of your favorite athletes taking illegal supplements, and keep in mind the questioned weren't even in the upper echelon lol

A lot of these high end athletes take designer PEDs that can’t be tested for.

He's not even in the top five I think. Usyk is a phenomenon, but people are getting carried away. Look at the resumes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Morales, RJJ, Oscar DLH, and Hopkins. They are streets ahead.

He never beat anyone in P4P list or close to that.

He is fighting very rarely compare to other top guys who risked everything very often.

I fully agree ! He has an incredible legacy of five opponents in heavy , he was brave enough to face and beat guys like witherspoon , chisora and dubious , he is man enough to go for rematch after rematch , he is the only fighter to carry his balls above the dick so a shot on the protector is a clear lowblow !

A thread from a guy who until recently spouted that Fury was the greatest ever and was unbeatable blah blah blah.....he gets beat by Uysk...not once but twice....now he has to justify his love for Fury by saying Uysk is the greatest

It really doesn't matter what you write. Roy Jones jr is the best fighter of the 21st and 20th centuries and there is nothing that you can say to change that. You just don't like him because unlike your idol he is a Russian citizen.

Usyk has never failed a PED test, been involved in any type of PED scandal, is a genuinely deeply religious and honourable family man which is not only exemplified by the impeccable manner he conducts himself outside of the ring but also in the ring and at the negotiating table:

He's a fearless road warrior who has forged a career fighting in the backyards of his opponents on a deck stacked against him and on the road, never tries to weaken or cripple opponents at the negotiating table and he's one of the cleanest fighters ever who wins his fights the honourable way via the application of pure skill and no use of dirty or illegal tactics like many of their idols

Sure sounds like someone who is looking to gain advantages, be they fair or unfair, over their opponents. But you guys knew that already.

And he's actually undergoing VADA testing, not not being tested his entire career, extremely rarely having done so, or on the rare occasions he has it's about as stringent as being asked if he's on PEDs like some of the other actual PED cheats mentioned in this thread that these clowns worship at the altar of who are reduced to maliciously accusing innocent fighters of cheating too in order to help them cope and try to mitigate the crimes of their walking pharmacy lab creation CHEATING idols.

Again, imagine hating on Usyk of all people. It really does say an awful lot about them so it's no surprise they would resort to this kind of thing

That is if you take the official judges scores, and if you are buying Howard Foster giving Joshua 115-113, i've got a luxury condo in Edinburgh to sell you, only 100 bucks! All mods cons! :risas3:

It does matter. You just decline to understand. Putting your fingers in your ears is not an argument.

It’s obviously Floyd or Manny. Usyk isn’t even close

I honestly think we have entered an era where the "eye test" trumps resume

Pacquiao coming up six weight divisions and knocking out Hatton in 2 rounds is better than any Usyk win, so is Mayweather outpointing Canelo and RJJ beating Toney and Hopkins. I think people will calm down once Usyk has retired. He is undoubtedly a Hall of Famer and a great of this era, but to call him the best fighter of the 21st century uncontested is wild.

    My sentiments exactly, Serge.

Usyk is the very embodiment of what we as boxing fans purportedly support, and yet he's frequently the subject of unwarranted criticism.

At some point one has little alternative but to wonder whether it's a function of geography (and the animus Eastern Euros engender from a segment of fans) or skin color.
