What generally accepted opinion about one boxer's superiority over another seems incorrect to you?

no, it’s why weight divisions often won’t work for time machines. Time machines work just fine if you match guys by their actual ring weights, either way. You want to put Bivol in the 40s? He’s fighting at HW and ends up with a funny nickname like “the lightning bunny”. You want to put Marciano in the modern day? He’s fighting at LHW (given that he’s actually a shade lighter than LHWs enter the ring at today).

Nah you got it twisted. Time machines don't work for boxing because eit isn't actually reflective.

For example when weigh ins changed to overnight, we didn't suddenly see every single boxer move down a weight class.

Far more nuances then just BuT tImE mAcHiNe DoE

Especially for up and coming guys the dehydration games started, save for a few who never played the game (Mayweather, for example).

I don’t see why this is crazy. Sure you can have an outlier who can drop a lot, or who won’t drop any, but the norm is weight cutting. That stuff we saw vids of Eubank Jr doing? That’s normal these days.

We never saw SRL boiling down to LW to get an advantage when the weigh ins changed. Instead we saw lots of welterweight sized fighters increase their in ring weight
