Usyk was saved by the ref that was a legit KO by Dubois

I don’t think it’s fair to describe Usyk as being a drama Queen when it comes to low blows.

Usyk is a very clean fighter, including him not throwing low blows - he has every right to expect to be treated in kind.

Notably, quite a feat to keep his punches up against Dubois also given how high Daniel actually wore his own trunks. Same goes for hitch em high Fury.

Usyk being especially vulnerable to the body is a myth imo. He’s taken terrific legit shots to that area before - worn them well and naturally, some are going to smart but he doesn’t reactively fold like a cheap tent upon a hard, legal shot to the belly.

Fury tried it on to the body, including more than a few stray shots - it would make sense that be didn’t pursue the body attack more if it wasn’t yielding the instant results he might’ve expected/hoped for -

I think Fury bought into the vulnerability to the body myth and discovered that it simply wasn’t true.

In this very thread I've mentioned that there is a certain segment of fans, mostly Euros, who dislike Floyd because he's a black American. There's absolutely a segment of boxing fans, again mostly foreigners, who hold black American fighters to a different standard, and I've noted as much.

You're certainly entitled to your opinions. Never suggested otherwise. Just own the rather obvious bias along with those opinions.

I think you're just seeing things by focusing on his hatred for certain fighters, possibly a side effect of mainly interacting with thread topics about the aforementioned, but the whole list of fighters he critizises come from all backgrounds.

Could my perception be colored by our interactions in a lot of Eastern Euro-centric threads? I suppose it's possible, but that still doesn't account for his bias. @AdamT is quick to point out anti-Floyd or anti- African American bias writ large, which absolutely exists, yet he seems rather reluctant to acknowledge much less call out anti-Eastern Euro bias (which, ironically, seems quite common in his own camp...ie the pro-Floyd crew).

I could participate in Floyd threads filled with Floyd The Best Ever, YO! types every day of the week and twice on Sundays, for example, but my general distaste for them would never affect my opinion of Floyd.

As I noted earlier, citing Usyk's lack of one-punch power is certainly a legit criticism. Likewise, I have no quarrel with @AdamT--or anyone else--objecting to the notion that Usyk is the GOAT or even the best fighter of the 21st Century.

But when he likes posts claiming Usyk would duck Kayabel, which he did in a thread on prospective heavyweight fights in 2025, that's a prime example of his bias. If there's one thing Usyk isn't, it's a "ducker" who's unwilling to tackle challenges.

He'd blow a gasket if someone suggested Floyd was ducking anyone.

Usyk hasn't fought Kabayel or parker, or they haven't entered his radar, so until he fights them, I am entitled to like posts. In fact, I'm entitled to like whatever posts I want. If my contribution annoys you so much feel free to ignore

His ****** resume is ripped to shreds all the time and I don’t blow a gasket. Sometimes I defend him, sometimes I don't, but I don't blow a gasket like you have done this past 24 hours.
