He won't be fighting Joseph Parker. Parker will be fighting on the Usyk vs Dubois II undercard on July 19, although there were talks of him having a headline fight in New Zealand against Justis Huni prior.

Whyte won't be fighting anyone good on June 7. It's a run-out basically.

Whyte vs Parker would not be an undercard to Wardley vs Huni, it can do good numbers on its own.

Not expecting much opponent wise in such short term notice.

Okolie, Gassiev, Hughie Fury or someone like that would be reasonable options for Whyte.

Will probably end up being against Demsey McKean.

    It won't be Parker.

Hrgovic would be ideal. He would likely take the fight on short notice.

But someone like Adeleye, Dacres, or Webb or a European journeyman is more likely.

I also assume that there will be nothing from the fight with Parker because Parker would flatten him in the early rounds, it could be a Hughie Fury caliber fighter.

I think its likely to be a can, a good KO from Whyte raises his stocks even if it is against lower opposition, and helps him get one last big money fight against someone like Joshua.

Parker wouldn't take that fight so late and on the undercard, Parker vs Whyte II would easily be a bigger main event itself. I think Whyte is pretty much completely shot without the juice and wouldn't risk it against someone like Hrgovic or Hughie Fury when he could still potentially make more on a Joshua or Parker rematch, or even Chisora or Dubois down the line.

Parker flattens Whyte even without preparation, the difference in quality is too big, Whyte needed a lot of rounds to stop Ebenezer...

The Ring understands the New Zealander Hemi Ahio (24-1, 18 KOs) looks like the most likely opponent...

Somehow I don't see anyone talking about how Whyte disappeared for a while from the radar to resurface now with (in my humble eyes) way way off prime performances. Then I see talks about him in with Parker who has recent performances on a totally different level from Whyte...

Do people expect Whyte Parker to be competitive? Am I missing something?

I was pretty impressed when Whyte was in his Prime and would have loved to see Joshua 2 or Wilder then. But these fights seem to me like he is only in it for the last paychecks

Whyte was only ever as good as what was in the bottle his syringe went into. Too bad they don't make one that could teach him how to avoid an uppercut.

Parker bodies him now, headbutts or no.
