Which light heavies would you send in to beat up on prime Bonavena. Would you send in Michael Spinks or perhaps you would send in Donny Lalonde or Mike Quarry? Send them in, 1 by 1

Lalonde and Quarry would get smashed to bits by Bonavena. Spinks would have a shot, especially if it was the heavyweight Spinks. Its hard to think of many light

    Hi Buddy.
Only really Moore or Charles would stand a chance against the rampaging, unorthodox, belligerent, awkward, South American. stay safe buddy, chat soon.
    Mike.

It would require someone outstanding with great defense in their prime. Bonavena was underrated and very strong. Anyone who can deck Frazier and buckle Ali has got some pop.

I think Spinks could get the job done. And RJJ

Michael Spinks, Michael Moorer, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Gene Tunney would beat him, Spinks, Charles and Moore may beat him up.

Spinks being the awkward guy he is, certainly in with a chance maybe.

    Nice list.
I would add Patterson and Conn.

In an nutshell, to defeat Ringo we need a fast, slick, skilled boxer with enough stamina and reflexes to outbox Ringo and win by decission.

If they actually have to go in weighing 175 on fight night it drastically shortens the list

There was some amazing talent in the light heavyweight division and despite Bonavena being as powerful and durable as he was I could see a lot of great light heavyweights outhustling him to a decision.

I would heavily favor guys like Archie Moore, Billy Conn, Michael Spinks, Qawi, Bettina, Maxim, Harold Johnson, Loughran, Roy Jones, Tarver, and Lesenvich to decision Bonavena.

He’s a solid pick yes. He went 15 competitive rounds with Marciano and beat a good list of heavyweight contenders. Then again, he wasn’t 175 when he did these things

Yeah, I also would favor Johnson, Conn and RJJ. They ain't stopping him, except a perfect punch like what Ali dealt out.
