Usyk. I think Holmes would beat Wlad. Usyk would be a great match up.

Usyk, master at slipping the jab, he would absolutely destroy Holmes, probably wouldn’t drop a round, he would nullify his best weapon

They'd both beat Holmes. He was the first hw ducking champ.

Do you give put a lot of stock into rounds won to lost? If you do then Wlad only lost 34 rounds in his career and 17 of those came in his last 3 fights which just shows how insanely dominant he was.

Usyk. Holmes always got KO'd when he fought a southpaw future journeyman in the amateurs. The most similar fighters Wlad fought to Holmes stylistically were Williamson and Fury.

A guy with a penchant for getting nailed by right hands and weak in a clinch, up against Wlad?

Both would beat Holmes. Wlad would probably have less trouble, Holmes struggled with tall fighters with good jabs and Wlad is probably one of the best at that style. Usyk would have more trouble early but I think he would eventually take over and win once he got his timing down and takes away Holmes jab.

Exactly. If Holmes thought Snipes cracked him hard… lol

I think Both Usyk and Wladimir beat holmes. Usyk would tune him up. Win a UD. Wlad Knocks him the **** out.

    X2

I know this is all subjective, and that each of us has our own point of view. But I often wonder how the viewpoints can be so vastly different, when I watch the greats like Larry Holmes Etc and I see such an obvious and extremely apparent difference in skill level compared to Usyk and Wladimir.

Without being partial, when I use my eyes to watch these fighters in the ring, I see a much higher level of skill amongst the older Generations, it's just what it is I guess.
