The last poll was one sided but many claimed Joyce still had a better resume despite lacking a legacy

Who has beaten or performed well against better opponents

    Wilder has Fury/Ortiz/Stiverne

    Joe Joyce has Dubois/Parker/Jennings

Hope this is just the beginning. Would like to see more and more of these Joe Joyce vs Deontay Wilder threads.

Perhaps who drives the better car? Who owns the bigger house? Who has the bigger bank balance?

It is a refreshing change from all these brain dead hypotheticals involving fighters 50 years apart.

    Get busy...

Its not an easy call because the top two opponents Joe beat are at least on par with (arguably better than) Ortiz, and were beaten in more dominant fashion, but then Joyce fell apart pretty quickly while Wilder went almost a decade and 40 fights unbeaten and held a belt for years, even if the opposition wasnt great for the most part.

Joyce better resume, Wilder better legacy. Both big what ifs.

Actually Joe Joyce resume has aged extremely well. Opposite situation to Wilder.
Joe beat two guys who are now top 2 and 3 of the division and after Usyk they are best names. Yes- they were younger and all but still got win over them its big thing right now.

Wilder resume back then look better because Ortiz and Stiverne was at top in that moment but lets be real- both was super overrated and done nothing. Ortiz biggest win for long time was Bryant Jennings and nothing more. Stiverne got his position because Arreola who was just "quiet good" (with all respect to them).

When they fight other guy than Wilder they also loose and end of the day done nothing special.

Soo I choose Joe resume as better one.

Wilder has 2 stoppage losses to Fury and a draw that shouldve been a decision loss. IDK you mentioned Wilder as having Fury...

You didn't see Joe Joyce hitting the canvas against scrubs like Dustin Nichols or Harold Sconiers
