Sutton has also fought absolutely nobody of note save a shot to hell Joel Julio and featherfisted Kieran Gething when he and Gething were novices...and the aforementioned featherfisted Warburton in a loss.

I'm starting to seriously question George's power and finishing instincts.

Gutsy effort from Sutton to stay in the fight after getting sat down in the first, and splattered in the second. Hasn't threatened to win a round yet, but the effort alone allows me to forgive his atrocious CCA.

 

We were overdue for a kerplunkeroonie there.

Not the most concussive of the three knockdowns - in fact it was the least - but, the ref had seen enough. TKO5, and Liddard gets his man outta there inside half schedule. Nice righting-of-the-ship after a tepid third & fourth round of piddling around.

 

Well that was a spectacle....

 

That uppercut from Liddard not long before the finish nearly took Sutton’s head off.

I hope Hearn has the good sense to NOT have Liddard fight Conway next.

Conway is at his peak, but at age 22 Liddard will likely improve in the next few years. An early loss would not be good for Liddard.
