That was a bad knockout and he didn’t make the adjustments, he was too herky jerky, too much unnecessary movement with his hands and body which just wastes energy, chin in the air and poor survival instincts.

He needs to take his time getting back, come back at a much lower level, fight a journeyman, maybe a Sokolowski or Nick Webb at best or something and have a few fights at that level, then step up against a Solomon Dacres or a Jamie TKV after taking his time to improve, if he gets past one of them, then fight an Adeleye or an Allen again, but that’s very much not a given that he gets back to that point, even if he takes his time.

What do you think he should do?

It's back to the drawing board and I'd like to see Matchroom give him 10 easy opponents over the next 2 - 3 years while he develops in the gym.

Fisher is young and has plenty of time. It's far too early to write him off.

He should contact Campbell Hatton as both in the same position.

Both young, neither any good and if it was not for Mr Eddie Hearn, both would be on the fringes of white collar boxing.

I don't know to be honest. I personally think he will never be that good. Maybe get a trade behind him because boxing isn't for him.

Be active, couple of easy blow outs against some eastern European journeyman types for his confidence, then step him up with someone who can take him distance with minimal threat, then look at the likes of a Nick Webb, Tommy Welch, Matty Harris type of fighter.

Despite all the bosh nonsense, he seems to be a smart and nice lad, and I wish him well.

I hope he has a good and realistic team behind him.

Personally couldn't care less what his promoter - whose job is to *promote* him - has said. Nobody with even a passing knowledge of boxing thought the lad was world class or anywhere near. I just hope his team were riding the crest of a wave in public, but have kept him down to earth.

If he has remained down to earth and sees this as a wakeup call, then it's time to rebuild professionally. Maybe return on some lower profile undercards, regain his confidence, learn some fundamentals. Try to pick up the English title, and hope to challenge for a British title.

That's a realistic target and he can make a good career. He and Nathan Heaney have many similarities.

He first needs to decide: is he a professional boxer or a money-making gimmick?

Yes, he sells thousands of tickets — but he just got exposed by a British-level fighter and knocked out badly in front of his adoring "Bosh Army." So what now? Does he go all-in on the gimmick, like Sr. did? Or does he actually want to be a fighter?

If it’s the latter, he needs to cut ties with his entire setup — including his father — and rebuild from scratch. That’s the only shot at being taken seriously. But even then, let’s be real: if someone with David Price’s pedigree and talent couldn’t come back after his losses, what chance does Johnny Fisher have? The odds are close to zero.

And let’s not forget the optics — going from headlining your own show at the Copper Box to undercards or topping a York Hall bill. That’s a different world. Price found his level with Thompson. Audley found his with Danny Williams, Guinn, and Sprott. Fisher’s found his with Allen.

And let’s not kid ourselves — this wasn’t Carl Thompson vs. David Haye. It wasn’t even Pele Reid vs. Julius Francis. Like @Beale said, this was Campbell Hatton vs. Flint territory. A defeat like that demands a total reinvention — new team, new goals, new everything.

But with the ticket sales he brings in, Hearn’s never giving him the luxury of a slow 10-fight rebuild over two years. It'll be 3–4 undercard fights at best, then either a trilogy with Allen (if Allen hasn’t already been thrown to the wolves), or a cash-out shot at the British title.

Personally, I think he’s done. More likely, he’ll double down on the gimmick — because the alternative means cutting off people who rely on him and live through him.

Good opponent for him in 2 fights would be someone like Thomas Carty or Chris Thompson who lost a decision to Solomon Dacres.

For his next opponent you are looking for someone who should last 2-3 rounds but won’t pose him any problems.

For this you could wheel over Tamos Polster the Hungarian number 1 HW and get a confidence boosting blow out

Realistically you are looking at 2 fights at a very low level before putting him back in with a better standard of HW.

He doesn't have the IQ or self-confidence to succeed at any level. After the first fight, it was blindingly obvious what improvements needed to be done, and yet he didn't make them and was in fact worse in the rematch. For example, it's clear that Allen's overhand is his main punch, and yet he wasn't better at defending against it in the rematch than in the first fight. He had a decent intention of boxing on the backfoot, but this meant in practice he kept backing up to the ropes where he was trapped.

He's also had the backing to afford proper professional camps etc. So he had a lot of schooling etc.

The classic Prince Naz clip springs to mind "you're either good at boxing or your not"

I'm not even joking with this, given he's got a profile etc now. He should seriously look at trying to get in amongst TOWIE etc and become a cast member.

He's got the back story etc and he could probably make a decent whack going down that route.

I honestly think there is almost 0 chance he'll ever be anything other than a bang average boxer.

So get paid to drink shots and flirt with lasses on towie

Being a good ticket seller when you are unbeaten and headlining is one thing.

Lose at what is your development stage and you start reappearing down the bill and away from home often in another part of the UK against a Ryanair Latvian import and people stop buying the tickets.

Reality of the boxing business, sadly. Rebuilds take time and a long learning curve HW boxing has been littered with them even getting to English or British title level if you can.

Ability and marketability, lose and the gimmick fades pretty quickly at lower levels.

I don’t think he’s cut out for TOWIE either being honest mate. He just needs to get a proper job which doesn’t involve being a pro boxer. He’s degree educated and as you say is relatively well known which is good for him on both counts.

    Maybe a role in Eastenders.

Or purchase a chinese restaurant with his Dad.

    The world's his oyster.

As long as it's not boxing related.

It’s definitely going to be interesting to see where the interest in his fights “bull army” goes from here, he’s going to be way down the card at the very best, tbh it seems like hearns already looking to distance himself, really had to laugh after the fight when Eddie was loitering around fisher looking concerned whilst at the same time gravitating towards Allen for the post fight speech, every time he says “Dave’s working with us now” or similar he breaks into a little smirk, couldn’t write it!
