The parameters of the thread, were to discuss hypothetical scenarios at both 160 and 168 pounds.

You were then asked two simple questions based on things at 160.

    Yet you couldn’t answer.

Didn't jacobs get knocked out and floored multiple times but still ran Golovkin close ?

    Janibek will surpass GGG soon

No, not really. Golovkin knocked him down and won a UD. Let's also not forget that Jacobs had no rehydration limit and Golovkin did.
I like Janibek but he is in no way as complete a fighter as Golovkin.

Yes really, Jacobs got smoked by Pirog with 1 right hand and ran it close with Rosado, but Nunn who is superior in every catagory including 1 punch power gets stopped ? Lol

GGG struggled with Southpaw Ouma due to his slick upper body movement, quick inside combinations and partially took Golovkins jab away, nobody ever seems to mention this.... adding lateral movement and 6 inches of height and reach isn't going to make it easier

LOL Ouma looked like he was in a car crash after Golovkin beat the juice out of him :boxing1

Styles makes fights bro, I don't see Nunn struggling that much with sum opponents of Canelo too

Neither fight occurred during Jacobs' prime.

Jacobs: 6-2 in 160 title fights, two time champ and only lost close decisions to future hofers.
Nunn: 6-1 in 160 title fights, one time champ and got smoked in the loss.

But who was Jacobs beating ? James Toney h2h might very well dominate GGG, i can see that. Consider Nunn was winning before the stoppage

His win column is pretty good and running prime versions of GGG and Canelo that close shows his class.

Nunn was an excellent boxer. I have no problem ranking him highly.

My problem is that people who think he blows Canelo away need to stop dipping their joints in petrol.

Still, i would take Nunns opponents and I'm sure he does everything better than Jacobs. The Ouma fight makes me question Golovkins chances. Nunn lost to someone who i think would beat GGG pretty clear

I think Nunn was better than Jacobs, but I can't even find room to say Sumbu was better than Jacobs h2h. Sumbu had a better resume, but I think Jacobs would be able to deal with his negative style.

Sumbu was a much better boxer then Jacobs could ever dream of being. What a joke it isn't even close.
