The shot which initially discombobulatized him and lead to the first KD was a temple shot (the side of the mind). The shot which made him faceplant towards the canvas landed flush on the whiskers but he was already in a discombobulatized and vulnerable state and to be fair you could hear the weight of those thumping right hands over the top and meaty left hooks
He's probably not even 50% of what he could be if he'd actually taken the sport seriously and was in top shape
The movement from fisher, especially when going backwards, is horrendous - it reminds me of when Dubois got tagged by Joshua and did that stiff little dance backwards
I wouldn't bother. From what I remember of it, it was an absolute stinker, with Clarke constantly hitting Allen below the belt, getting numerous points taken off and probably lucky not to be disqualified. Can't remember who I thought was winning at the time. And then Allen unluckily got an injury of some kind and retired.
He sure does. Fine Grade AAA English china no question. And yet, there are still some glass jaw deniers who can't accept this obvious fact.
Price was far bigger and more powerful than Fisher, that`s why he destroyed Allen, but the one thing they have in common is that China chin, Fisher is completely green at least Price had a decent amateur background, he would have destroyed Fisher.
It's always the same with you glass jaw deniers -"that punch woulda KOd anybody;" "so and so has poor defense...poor movement...[insert other irrelevant flaw here];" some mediocre fighter who only KOs stiffs is a "massive puncher," etc., etc., etc. All of this is a smokescreen for people who either don't understand the CENTRAL importance of punch resistance in boxing, and/or are fanboys of a particular fighter who can't accept that their hero just can't take a punch. So, listen up everybody. Glass Jaws exist in boxing and Johnny Fisher most definitely has one!!!
Itauma would probably beat him but Allen has beaten hype jobs before and is a decent measuring stick. Still very early days in Itauma's career.
Glass chin means shattered as in doesn't recover. Whilst Fury has been knocked down alot his recovery ability is quite remarkable.
