Yes , and after the dubois fight i do not expect him to fight at all until the 2026 jake paul fight .
Imho usyk will never fight parker , let alone kabayel

 

Well he won't get to Kabayel because he said two left, but you have no reason to think he won't fight Parker.

 

Time will tell , it is of course only my personal guess .
But if he would ever had the intention to fight parker he would already had done it as a high value title defence and a legacy fight .

 

Parker will be even fatter by then.

Crock of ****. He's going from his contractual rematch with Fury to a re-unification fight against the man who insulted his honor. His priorities are a little different than yours.

 

Parker isn’t the big danger to him anyway. Kabayel is.

 

Not sure waiting is the best way forward for Parker tbh. His best performances have come at times when he's busy and getting at least a couple of fights a year, which surely he and his team know.
Makes me wonder how much his career has taken out of him, maybe he knows something the rest of us don't.

Anyway reading through the comments re Usyk, Kabayel, Parker in this thread reminds me of how screwed up boxing fans can be. Usyk is at the end of a long and hard career where he's ducked no one, and now no matter who he does and doesn't fight by making a commitment to end his fighting days he's effectively given fuel to the fire that he's ducking Kabayel, Parker, or both. And worst of all is that even if he fought and beat them both, people would end up saying he ducked someone else like Itauma...

Anyway as a Parker fan I hope he gets his shot, but honestly Usyk won't be ducking if he doesn't

Usyk has a really long and hard hw career , with 5 opponents on his legacy.
With legends like witherspoon, old chisora and dubois to name three of the five . What a resume ;-)

Parker and kabayel would fight usyk immediately and are mandatory contenders but team usyk instead silences the sanctioning bodies to not be stripped and fight only dubois who he has already beaten before ... noooo , usyk never ducks anybody

Undisputed takes precedence. Always has as far as I know. Hell the WBO has it in their published regulations. Usyk is well within his rights to take the bigger payday, and what is potentially the easier fight, if it's a unification.
Am I happy about that? Hell no. Do I understand it? Yup. Is he ducking? His history would say no.

Anyway my point is that someone will accuse him of ducking someone bo matter who he fights and beats.

 

Unifications trump mandatories. Dubois is also rated higher than Parker and Kabayel in all the independent rankings. You can't be claiming he's ducking anyone while he's fighting a higher rated opponent considered better than those two who also has the best chance to beat him according to the public. Just because you would prefer him to fight Parker or Kabayel it's just your personal opinion.

 

I highly doubt that its the bigger payday than against parker or kabayel . Its not even at riyadh season , most probably with a weak undercard .

Its not about money since usyk has more than he can ever spend , its about propaganda and having a national hero for ukraine so he / his management must make sure he never looses , so no risky fights .
