    De Jesus beat Roberto Duran...

Thats all i have to say. And I think he and Castillo both should be in the HoF.

DeJesus was a bit more versatile. He could box, punch and was an explosive counter-puncher. But I see Castillo still standing at the end with DeJesus as the winner.

Yeah, how can you say Castillo would beat a guy that beat Duran ? I like Castillo and think he was pretty good, maybe great even... but De Jesus has the strongest reputation for a reason.

Castillo because he'd enter the ring at close to 150 and proved he could perform well if not win against world class boxers many times.

You beat me to it. I'm a fan of both fighters but Castillo would likely have fought at 147 had he been in the same era as De Jesus. As great as De Jesus was for beating Duran, folks forget that Castillo legitimately gave a prime Floyd Mayweather his toughest fight and most people think he won. I certainly scored it for him when I watched it live and still think he beat Floyd to this day. I think De Jesus was the more skilled guy but Castillo's size makes a big difference along with his tremendous heart/will to win.

What makes it hard is that both man we're also good at negating each other's styles.

De Jesus beat the arguably greatest pressure fighter in Duran, yet Castillo made so many slicksters trade and bang with him.
