Lol, you don’t even understand that turn of phrase.

Ship has sailed, you’ve missed the boat….etc.

Why would I be shouting from the shore?

Good lawd, that’s two boats you’ve missed now……

Still submitting pointless posts and still last word freaking it for all your worth……

You're awfully invested in critiquing my 'pointless posts' for someone who claims the debate is over and the 'ship has sailed.' If I've 'missed the boat,' why are you still lingering at the dock trying to explain idioms to me?

It seems the only thing I've 'missed' is a substantive answer from you. Your continued engagement speaks louder than your victory declarations tbh.

Interesting projection. The only 'meltdown' here is your continued inability to address the actual points. Calling it 'predictable' doesn't make your evasion any less obvious.

It's quite something, isn't it? You accuse me of 'last word freaking it,' then immediately post again yourself. The irony of you meticulously demonstrating the very behavior you're condemning seems utterly lost on you.

It's truly fascinating. You continue to meticulously chronicle my alleged 'last word freaking,' all while adding yet another post yourself. One has to admire your commitment to extending the very exchange you claim has no points and that I'm the one prolonging.

Where is his answer to anything you said? (Genuinely curious) All I keep seeing is lines and lines of telling everybody “I won I promise” in the most condescending way possible lol nothing more “last word freaking” then declaring over and over the discussion is over with every reply.

Could you break down the discussion here for me? I can’t scroll through all that borderline Marx like pseudo smartie babble - from my POV roughly you said Ken Norton is unproven for a variety of styles (true) and H2H can’t really reliably be ranked above those that did? And his reply is that he might’ve beat Ali and Young? Not sure how that answers anything, correct me if I’m wrong.

I wouldn’t argue that, Ali had good pop, I’d say he ain’t the most underrated though I’d say that might belong to Emile Griffith he could really stiffen up guys who got brave for similar reasons as Ali.

You've got it. Essentially I said, Norton was great against Ali and Holmes, but his overall resume lacks wins against a wide variety of other top styles, making his H2H ranking beyond those specific matchups debatable.
He said Norton should have won more fights against Ali, he beat Young, and doing so well against those legends is enough to prove his elite status. He focuses on re-arguing those few fight outcomes instead of addressing my points on why having close fights against fighters with similar styles somehow makes him capable of beating fighters with completely different styles. His style, as you noted, involves a lot of verbose and condescending posts that often deflect from the main point about resume depth.

Young, Fat Ali, Shot Ali and losing to Holmes is evidence only that you can debatably beat one “sort” of good boxer some of the time lol. The rest of his resume is woeful if you’re looking to build any argument for variety of foes / versatility though I’d be unsurprised to see mention of Tex Cobb soon, blood from a stone effort especially when you take into account how he was easily annihilated by every puncher and drew with literally Scott LeDoux that’s his level outside an archetypical opponent.
