I like your appreciation for both fighters!

 

I feel bad for boxers sometimes. They are risking a lot when they are in the ring. I hope Fisher recovers mentally and physically and is able to make a good comeback.

 

Following the first fight none of the sharp punters or the educated betting community thought it was possible that Dave Allen would see it through a training camp without quitting. And enter the ring in shape and able to throw more than 10 punches a round in singles.

We were all proven wrong.

Let’s hope this is a new Dave Allen 2.0. As if it is he can start to fulfil his potential.

That was the story of this fight, as everyone could see how limited Fisher was in that Henry Armstrong fight.

If that had been the Allen of the Frazer Clarke fight in there then Fisher would have won easily, which is why the fight was made in the first place.

 

call me crazy but I thought Alan was gonna beat him in the rematch. I didn’t realize the fight was recent and I saw that he was a +200 dog. I was so mad because I definitely would’ve put some serious cash on him.

 

You can't train a Chin. Fisher is a Glass Jawed Fighter. Its over for him.

 

The assumption was that Allen wouldn't turn up in shape and would likely get robbed on the cards again if it was a close fight, as Fisher is the home fighter. Ability wise, everyone could see from the 1st fight that Allen was the superior technician and more skilled.

 

Not sure it’s glass, as Allen has solid power. It’s not like he got stopped with one shot, either. It was multiple blows.

 

Some of the most wholesome **** I've seen in a ring. Love it.
