15 rounds David vs Goliath (except David hits harder in this case). I can't see Fury knocking out Frazier, so his only chance is to stick and move but can he move around for 15 rounds? I do think Frazier manages to land on Fury's body but might struggle with Fury's head movement. I think Fury outboxes Frazier until the championship rounds (13-15) when Frazier wins in a Marciano vs Walcott I fashion. Interested in your opinions!
Does Belly get to wear his trunks up to his armpits? Frazier bobs and weaves his way in and left hooks Fury high and low to a win.
This should be a really bad match up for Frazier but it isn't. I have no idea why but Fury just really struggles with smaller and faster Heavyweights that move very well. Give them a Frazier left hook and I think that's disastrous for Tyson.
Fury lost to John McDermott, got dropped by Cunningham and should've been stopped on his feet against Usyk. Not worthy of being in the same ring as Joe.
Over fifteen rounds with a fair referee that doesn't allow Fury to hold and lean on Frazier when he is inside, then I would fancy Frazier. It is sad to say but in modern boxing, over twelve rounds and with a ref ambivalent to spoiling, Frazier would be up against it.
Fury wins this without too much issue. Frazier is too easy to hit and too vulnerable to Fury punches at range and if he gets close Fury will just tie him up and there's pretty much nothing Frazier can do about it. Don't see a realistic winning path for Frazier here
Fury was getting outboxed by USS Cunningham, who while still bigger than Joe, was nowhere near Joe's level as a boxer.
Different styles, Chisora who is the most similar style wise to Frazier gave Fury 0 problems so I imagine the fight would go similar to the second Fury Chisora fight.
I don't think Fury could actually hurt Frazier. Especially past the first 5 rounds. If the ref allows the big dosser to lay on Joe's back for extended periods (Wlad tactics) maybe, but even then I doubt it. Joe is a chainsaw cutting down a rotten tree. Joe KO10 Fury.
Yep, Frazier comes in bobbing and weaving and by the mid rounds crashes that all-time great left hook into Fury's jaw and ends it.
I actually favor Fury, Frazier will be missing wide hooks and Furys reach is a problem but Fury will probably get dropped once or twice
You people are utterly deluded. You actually think Frazier hits harder than a modern 6'7 boxer with a good KO percentage? Fury has more skill and every other advantage too. Frazier would be utterly smashed by Fury. Frazier was tiny compared to Foreman, who is tiny compared to Fury. Work it out. Cunningham was complaining how massive Fury was and impossible to handle and he had far more skill than Frazier and was naturally bigger too. Frazier wouldn't land anything on Fury and just be picked apart then TKO'd at best. He would look even more useless than he did against Foreman. Frazier is a crude b/w era slugger under 6ft tall. Modern cruisers would handle him easily let alone Fury who would beat him like a little kid.
