What should he do next Winner of Adeleye TKV for me would be a sensible option.
Talk of Wilder and AJ online and on YouTube is complete nonsense they'd kill the guy.

Adeleye or tkv would be interesting, if adeleye wins the rematch and this Warren vs Hearn 5 vs 5 goes ahead, could it feature on that? Timing dependant obviously

I reckon he has a crack at Hughie Fury next where he will not be overly damaged and find out whether he has reached his ceiling.

A winnable fight against the Skirt although he would be underdog.

    I like that fight.

It would prove a lot for Dave Allen 2.0.

Can he maintain a high enough output to beat a Skilful British level spoiler, does he have the technique to land some scoring shots on the elusive Skirt?

Hughie most likely won’t take it. He doesn’t seem overly fussed about being a boxer since his 3rd loss at a higher level. He hasn’t fought at a higher level since 2019 astonishingly

I think Allen would struggle more with TKV’s movement and boxing ability. You feel with Adeleye if he can handle the strength and physicality he can be in the fight.

Hughie would still outpoint Dave Allen if they ever fought, not that we need to see that.

If Allen can show up in shape and disciplined, he can make a nice run here. Clocks ticking for him to make some money. I read he wants 3 fights before the end of the year.

I'm not sure that would be a good fight for Allen; we all know his weaknesses, he is not exactly spright of feet or hands, and Hughie would probably dance around him for a decision in a stinker of a fight. Hopefully his next fight is someone on his level but also someone with a style that marries well with Allen's and is conducive to a good fight. Adeleye (if he wins) would be good; if Allen is feeling adventurous then possibly a second shot at Dillian Whyte. Allen is really starting to believe in himself and it is a pleasure to see; I would love to see him fight Whyte with this new belief in his belly, with Allen going in with the will to win rather than the sparring partner mentality we have seen in some of his fights.

I give him a chance against The Skirt who is certainly not even a Shade of Ali these days.

A non powerful elusive heavyweight making him think will give him a true assessment to his current boxing ceiling level.

Still have the feeling that any fighter with decent power irons him right out including Whyte and Chisora.

You may be right in that Whyte would generate good money for him and he may have aged badly.

Go for the British if and its a decent sized if. Fisher isn't all that and looks chiny after the Whyte rematch. Whyte's feet are even slower than he was, and while he still has pop. Allen might be able to drag him into something if he lets his hands go - he was a bit passive in the first fight but Whyte is hittable and times is ticking, although he will probably be looking at AJ rematch himself.

It’s Dave vs Dave, he couldn’t be arsed to get in shape for the Fisher fight which was probably his highest pay day. He can beat a few guys at British level but he has to beat his laziness first.

The hype around Dave Allen is bordering on delusional now — especially on social media. When someone floated Deontay Wilder as a potential opponent and Adam Smith didn’t immediately shut it down, it showed how far gone the discourse is.

Let’s be real: Allen won maybe 30 seconds of that rematch against Fisher. He was four rounds down and being outboxed by someone who looked mentally broken — frozen in the psychological fifth — before getting faceplanted in spectacular fashion. But context matters.

Even Dave himself has said Fisher has no ring IQ. He’s basically working with a GCSE-level understanding of the sport. That said, Allen's not far ahead — maybe A-levels at best — and he gets found out badly against anyone beyond that standard.

Hopefully, Hearn sees it for what it is. Best-case scenario? Match Allen appropriately, stick Fisher on the undercards, build toward a third fight, and let them both walk away with full wallets and their health intact.

But knowing Hearn, if Allen beats one more overmatched opponent, we’ll be back to talk of him being a couple of fights away from AJ or a world title shot. It’s a never-ending cycle of sales over sense.

Someone on another thread said David Price should seriously consider a comeback and give Allen another schooling — maybe even do a two-for-one and take Fisher to class while he’s at it. I wouldn’t rule it out. At least Price, in his prime, operated on a level neither of them has sniffed.
