Iron chins and iron nuts! Which fighters had the best resistance to low blows?

I'm not sure resistance to low blows is anything to brag about; possibly implies one is not well endowed downstairs...

 

I’ve always been amused by those guys who allegedly train to take heavy shots to the nuts and then publicly demonstrate their resilience.

As I see it, the best these guys could hope for is to shut down the brain signals/transmissions for pain…otherwise, their nuts are still getting crushed and likely damaged.

If there is a correlation between glass nuts and tiny nuts, I guess we should give credit for the accuracy of the low puncher in “finding” doze nutz.

 

If that's the case I would be George Chuvalo-esque.

I hadn't sparred in a while, and Coach had me get in there with this guy was I think he was 34-2 or something as an amateur. He had a really strong left hook and good lateral movement.

I have no idea why, but I had a boner during this spar. It might've been because I had to pee. To make matters worse, I forgot to put on a cup. Anyways, I got the crap beat out of me round 1. Only landed maybe 2-3 glancing blows.

In between rounds, this older guy in the corner told me to counter his hook with my right straight. I had been trying to use jabs, but he was timing them and beating me to the punch or countering over and over. But the right hand leads, I guess he wasn't used to them. And because I have longer arms, I was landing either before or simultaneously when he threw the hook. This was irritating and frustrating him.

Round 3, and I'm slowly starting to get the momentum and turning things around. I cracked him with a strong right, sending him stumbling back a few steps. He was becoming more angry and more sloppy. Then he dipped low. I assumed he was going for a body shot and lowered my arms to protect my mid-section, but he landed a vicious punch with all his body weight right at my kabob.

Since it was erect, it was like a hammer hitting a nail. I think I lost a centimeter in length. Sharp pain surged throughout my body. Eyes watering, and I froze in place. Coach asked if I could continue and I told him "hell nah, WTF do you think?!?". The other guy was chuckling with his friends, it was intentional.

Anyways, I think guys like Bowe probably took worse punishment in terms of damage sustained over time/combinations. But in terms of taking 1 solid power punch to the junk? I'm #1. I may be the "glass" city Cobra, but my nuts are iron.

Not Evander though, he knew how to headbutt and punch you in the ball bag at the same time - all “nuts” covered. The hands and head of God…
