Well, he's only 23. And hell, he actually shows up for the fights.

 

Interesting match-up of two undefeated but unheraldeds...

Alex Barriere, 12-0, takes on 14-0 Roney Hines June 14th at MSG.

 

Big Ryad show on June 14th has Tsotne Ragava taking on another undefeated, Vitali Stalchecko, 10-0. Also on the card are Lazinbek Mullijonov and a bunch of other heavies I've never heard of.

 

It would be cool to see some of these second tier HWs force their way into the ranking on the simple basis of winning against decent competitors.

 

Part of WBC Grand Prix I think. We may end up seeing Lazizbek and Ragava against each other, sounds pretty cool.

 

What a novel approach! Imagine that. Some of the big names should try it.

I was wondering what was going on with Vlad Sirenko. I hadn't heard anything about him since he signed with Frank Warren. I just saw that on boxrec that he has had three fights in the US. This is his last one.

At the beginning of the fight, one of the commentators called Sirenko Russian. Hopefully Sirenko didn't hear that, otherwise he probably would have kicked that guy's ass.

 

Sirenko will be on the Usyk vs Dubois II undercard on July 19. The full card will be announced on June 7 after Wardley vs Huni. Itauma vs Hysa will also be on the undercard.
