The best card of the weekend was the only non-PPV one. These ‘invite only’ Saudi events are literally giving the fighters no incentive to promote or even perform. No tickets to be sold and they don’t even need to try and sell a PPV as they’re already vastly overpaid for the fight. They’re fighting in front of a load of people who are being paid to be there, who don’t care if they’re any good or not, and the lacklustre atmospheres are on par with the lack of enthusiasm of the fighters it seems.
I don’t get what you actually get for being a DAZN subscriber these days? If Ryan Garcia v Rolly Romero is PPV in the UK then there’s zero point signing up.
This time last year, many DAZN UK annual subscribers on the £99 per year offer came to that conclusion after a year full of tripe with any fight of interest on Box Office. There must be less than 200 UK subscribers left and I have no idea why they keep paying.
As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I feel for the people who wasted their hard earned on those fights, but if they continue to prop up these sham PPV events with fighters only in it for the money, then well they deserve what they get.
I feel the same, but the fighters on that card could and did get away with putting in the bare minimum in exchange for an obscene paycheck. If Turki facilitates any further cards like this then you have to question his judgement, if you haven't done so already.
This content is protected An absolute classic that will no doubt drive huge subscriber numbers If they are doing it in the AO Arena, they could probably fit the crowd in, in the lobby
If I ever thought DAZN UK is done, then no doubt after a mate told me DAZN UK are charging a separate ADDITIONAL subscription of £189.99 up front for 12 months , £16.99 per month for 12 months contract or £19.99 per month with 30 days notice - wait for it English National League Football - NON LEAGUE FOOTBALL!!!!! Sensational information and I genuinely thought this low level garbage plus women's football was included as part of the 'much more' section of the DAZN UK subscription.
Was going to watch the final on it today your right it's not included in the normal subscription utterly ridiculous and expensive for National League Football .
Almost all content on DAZN is PPV. Remember what Eddie Hearn said ? You just pay for a normal DAZN subscription and you´ll get access to big events that normally would be PPV. Times have changed
