Not an unreasonable list. Hopkins is the oldest man to ever be a champion. Longest reigning middleweight champion.
He is in the discussion for anyone's top lists.

Yeah, far from the worst list ever but Hopkins top 5 all time is a stretch for most.

With same-day weigh-ins, all would be roughly the same weight class, give or take ten, seventy pounds.

But in all honesty, everyone on his list is an all-time great.

only Robinson and Ali can be in a top 5.

Hagler and Arguello are a stretch, and putting himself in there is a humorous massive stretch

I've just revised my top 5 Forum posters. I'm number 5. Top 4 shall remain nameless.

In no order.. SRR, Greb, Langford, Charles, Armstrong, Ross, Walker..

That's my top 7 that i settled on many moons ago.. but a top 10 is something i struggle with.. there's about another 5 other fighters i think are all worthy of it & i interchange them regularly , but my top 7 is a lock.

Taylor then lost to Pavlik, who lost to Hopkins. Check-mate!

I know this sub would choke in disgust at some the picks here but these p4p lists are so subjective.

Most boxing lists are subjective, even simple current day rankings.

The one aspect of Hopkins that impresses me the most is his humility.
